This week Khemani writes about the exciting year 6 trip to Thriftwood.

I was really looking forward to going Thriftwood because I knew that there was going to be many different activities that I have never done before.  I was so excited when I got there and couldn't wait to do the fun activities.  First of all, we rode pedal cars which was very exhausting. Then we did axe throwing with real axes - I managed to hit the targets but I broke some of the target because I threw it so hard! We then had lunch which was very delicious as I made my own packed lunch to take. Finally, we did the kayaking which was scary at first as I didn't know how to use the paddle but I soon got used to it with the help of one of the assistants.  Then I started to get the hang of it and I really enjoyed it. Also, our groups were given very silly names and we had to rub our noses on the front of the boat.  I would recommend that the next set of year sixes are taken to the amazing woodland called Thriftwood.
