What does your child get up to at lunchtimes?

Apart from eating their packed lunch, or our delicious cooked food, what do children do at lunchtimes?  We thought parents may enjoy seeing these pictures of pupils enjoying the vast array of activities on offer.

Over the past 12 months, William Ford has spent around £120,000 improving its playground, buying resources and developing provisions, along with training staff to address concerns ranging from behaviour to obesity - ensuring children can be active.  Our site may only be small, with no field available, but we hope you will be impressed with what we have achieved.  In the photos below you will see:

  • Dressing up
  • Basketball/Football
  • Dodgeball in the sports hall
  • Playing with toys - small world
  • Climbing frame
  • Parachute games
  •  Table tennis
  • Using the gym equipment
  • Trampolining
  • Radio broadcasting
  • Uno card games club
  • Adventure play

What is great to see is how children from different year groups play so nicely with each other.

But we are not stopping there!  Over the next year we are sure you will see even more development, even more games and a lot more fun as William Ford continues to go from strength to strength!

Do let us know if you have any ideas.
