This week, year three pupils tell us about their geography trip to the coast.

We really enjoyed our geography trip to Walton on the Naze on Monday.  We went by coach and when we got there some of us went straight to the beach and some to the town. We looked for different shells and pebbles and kept a tally. We also dug in the sand to measure the water near the sea wall and the shoreline.  We found that the water was nearer to the top of the sand when we were nearer to the sea.  In the town, we did another tally of human features like buildings and road signs.  It was a lovely sunny day, and we even got to go to another beach and saw rock pools and crabs.  It was an amazing day!  Click here for more photos of the day: William Ford Junior School - Year 3 Walton Trip (williamfordschool.co.uk)
