Pupils from William Ford had a fantastic opportunity to take part and complete the Junior Duke of Edinburgh award at Trewern in April/May 2025. 12 pupils were selected to take part in the Junior DofE award, where they had to complete multiple tasks, including outdoor adventurous sporting activities, first aid training and application, as well as many other skills that they will take with them into life. The pupils had a wonderful time and they excelled at the challenges, successfully completing the DofE award. They took part in activities, such as: raft building, a canoe expedition and race, fire building, first aid on the mountain and in the water, gorge walking, rock climbing amongst many others. We all had a great time and we hope to make this an annual feature at William Ford.
