Year 6 have had a fantastic time at the residential this week. They really impressed us with how adventurous and brave they were. From abseiling to the jumping off the trapeze, all the children displayed great courage on how to face your fears head on! Working together as a team to build a buggy and instructing each other whilst blind folded on the sensory trail going through tunnels and stepping over many roots, all whilst being soaked in the rain. To big laughs and screams on the big swing when they had the opportunity to release the machine before a big drop. They all ate to their hearts content and loved the freedom of spending money in the shop; using all the money skills from maths to work out how best to spend their money. Staying up late, having chats and eating sweets in their dormitories, they had a blast.
