This week Amar and Tanatswa from 5H write about preparing a healthy meal with cook.
This week year 5 were able to make a nutritious, healthy pasta salad with the school cook - Mrs Watkins. We had different ingredients like tuna, sweetcorn, different coloured peppers, tomato, onion and cucumber to mix with cooked pasta. To make them taste more interesting, we could also add black pepper, salt, parsley and fresh lemon juice. We chose what our ingredients then mixed with mayonnaise if we wanted to, They tasted amazing, and we enjoyed them so much we want to make them at home again with our parents.
