Kew Gardens Trip

This week Malachi from 3N wrties about their trip to Kew Gardens

On Monday 10th July, Year Three visited Kew Gardens as part of the 'Fit For a King' project. The journey was very long and me and my friend Collins sat next to each other, and we laughed every time it went completely black when it was underground. When we arrived, I thought Kew Gardens was a small place, but it turned out to be very large and fascinating. I liked being inside the hive sculpture the best, it was very slippery, and I was able to do a moonwalk and other Michael Jackson steps. We went into the palm house, which was one of my favourite places too, and we saw lots and lots of tropical palm plants - it was very sweaty in there.  If I could work at Kew Gardens I would like to open a souvenir shop so that people could show that they have been there.  Since being back at William Ford, we have used our own designs to create a model of a castle for King Charles III.
