This week Deborah from 6F writes about the year 6 trip to the theatre
On Monday after school we went to the Peacock Theatre in the West End of London to see the pantomime - Beauty and the Beast. We travelled by coach from school to the West End at 5pm and once we got there we were given a program that told us about the actors, different scenes and songs. We were then taken into the theatre, and we had excellent seats up high and could see it very clearly. The performance started at 7pm and was very enjoyable because we got to see many different exciting scenes and the songs were like pop songs from the charts, so we could all enjoy them and sing along. I also liked the fact that they gave you the opportunity to stand up and dance along with them. In the interval, we were given some sweets which helped us stay awake together with the loud music as it was very late. We didn't get back to school until 10:30pm! But it was definitely worth it. I would recommend this pantomime to people of all ages as it was fantastic fun!
