There are not many places in the world, or indeed many times of the year, where you can witness Sherlock Holmes having a conversation with Toy Story's Woody, as Harry Potter wanders by and Wally tries to hide in between.  No, this is not some crazy dream but the reality at William Ford on World Book Day as pupils learn about, and celebrate, the joy of reading.

During assembly, Mrs. Freeland shared practical advice about how we can all not only find a book we like, but also find the time to enjoy reading.  Across the school today, there are many activities taking place to promote such enjoyment.

A huge well done to all of the pupils and staff who dressed up today.
