This week we started gardening club after school with Miss Avery.  I wanted to be a part of the gardening club as I enjoy planting, watering and looking after plants to make the school environment look better.  There were new and previous members of the club, which was nice as we all get to make new friends.  In our first session, we planted some heather in the pots outside the main entrance. When we dug into the soil, there were some old bulbs and we thought that they were onions but learnt that they were called bulbs and are flowers waiting to grow! After we planted the new flowers, we made sure that we watered them well.  I can't wait to see the results of the work we do over the next year at school.
