Channel 4 News films at William Ford

Mr. Huntingford shares his views on the national news about changes to OFSTED.

William Ford Junior School was pleased to welcome Channel 4 News and journalist Keme Nzerem today as part of a feature on proposed changes to Ofsted inspections. Mr Huntingford shared his views, making it clear that we do not support these changes. We believe inspections should help schools improve while also celebrating all that is good and remarkable about William Ford and schools across the country.

Our pupils are becoming quite used to welcoming film crews, and today was no exception. As ever, an hour of filming was condensed into about thirty seconds, but the experience was invaluable. Well done to all the pupils and staff involved! No facial shots of children were captured, ensuring their privacy was protected.

A special thank you to the Channel 4 camera operator, who has kindly offered to return to William Ford to share more about his job—a fantastic opportunity to further promote our careers focus and inspire our pupils.
