Lighthouse pupils develop money skills and entrepreneurship

Developing Money Skills, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship at William Ford Junior School

At William Ford, we are committed to preparing our pupils for the future, equipping them with essential life skills and real-world experiences. As part of our Lighthouse Provision, pupils have been developing financial literacy, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills by running a small-scale snack enterprise for the school community.

This initiative aligns with our strong careers ethos, giving pupils hands-on experience in budgeting, pricing, customer service, and responsible decision-making. By managing their own business, they are learning valuable lessons in money management while also providing a useful service to their peers.

Through projects like this, we ensure that our pupils gain the practical skills and confidence needed for their future careers. We look forward to seeing how they continue to develop and grow!
