SATs are over!

This week Chizaram and Mataa from 6B tell us about the week they've had getting through their SATs!

The SATs were quite stressful because we all wanted to do our very best, but we had lots of practise and some of us were able to come to boosters to improve our reading or maths to make sure we felt ready for the tests.  The year 6 teachers have supported us by not only helping us learn, but by telling us not to worry as long as we are trying our best.  For anyone that was still worried, we could have spoken to Viv in Place2Be or another adult in school like Mrs Finch. This week we were also able to come to a Year 6 breakfast club, which helped to settle us in the mornings and ensure that we were not hungry.  After the last test, we went to Dagenham Park where we played on the exercise equipment, played with PE/playground equipment, or we could just chill.  Then after lunch, we had class parties where we could dance, play football and eat party food.  Then on Friday, we all went to the cinema to watch the Minecraft movie where we all shouted 'CHICKEN JOCKEY!'  It has been hard work getting through our SATS, but it has been really enjoyable and nice that the teachers have rewarded us for all of our hard work.
